Keyboarding III is an elective designed to help students learn how to type. Designed to follow Keyboarding I and II, this is a two-unit course. Both units begin by having the student practice words, unique combinations of letters and numbers, and advanced symbols. Following the first few lessons in each unit, the student will practice typing using portions of Scripture. In Unit 1, the student will type passages of Scripture taken from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5–7. In Unit 2, the student will type passages of Scripture taken from the Upper Room Discourse in John 13–17.

Upon completion of the course, students will have a strong knowledge of proper finger placement and be able to type combinations of letters and numbers, advanced punctuation and symbols, and sentences and paragraphs. In addition, students will become more familiar with the Sermon on the Mount and the Upper Room Discourse.
