Ignitia Troubleshooting: A Question has an Incorrect Answer

Blog---Troubleshooting

As students navigate through their assignments, once in a while, they may get across a typo or an answer that might be wrong. Publishers do their best to produce high-quality work, but still might post a few errors. This is why publishing companies are open to feedback and issuing editions every few years.

You as a parent, might recall a situation when your child was working hard on their science test. They studied all day and knows the information inside-out. Suddenly, during the test, from the living room, “Moooom!”

A question has an answer that your student (and you) know to be incorrect.

The good news is that this rarely happens and should not affect your student’s grade.

The bad news is that the grade may show as lower for a few days.

Solution: Take a screenshot and send your student’s teacher a (nice) email explaining the issue and provide the screenshot. The teacher then will communicate to the publishers about the error and not count a “wrong answer” again the student's grade.
