Throughout this course, students will embark on a multifaceted journey that examines key aspects of society and culture from a biblical perspective. From the dynamics of family and community life to the importance of stewardship and citizenship, students will gain valuable insights into how biblical principles can shape their understanding of the world and their role within it.
One unique aspect of this course is its exploration of national holidays from a biblical perspective. Students will learn about the significance of various holidays and how they reflect and celebrate principles rooted in faith and tradition. Furthermore, the resource treasury included in the textbook offers valuable supplemental materials, including land and water terms, an atlas, and a picture glossary. These resources provide students with additional support and reinforcement as they delve deeper into their studies.
Fine Arts covers it all! Art, drawing, painting, crafts, music, dance. They can be done at home or a course taught in a more formal setting. Activities done for this course should be grade level and age appropriate. Students have the entire school year to complete 60 hours of fine arts, along with providing 3-5 photos or videos as evidence.
Hiking, biking, dance, martial arts, and swimming are just the beginning of the long list of activities 1st graders can do for PE. Activities can be done at home or in a more formal setting, and they can be team sports and individual sports. Activities done for this course should be grade level and age appropriate.
