Portrait of a Girl in Blue

The photo was taken in a city park during the evening. The weather was cloudy, so the lighting was pretty great. It wasn’t too bright or too dark. The photo is of my sister. She has a blog and sometimes asks me to take some pictures of her for her blog. I had the settings on portrait mode, so it automatically set the parameters for my camera. I decided to have a green background so it would be more focused on her sweater and her eyes. It’s a lot harder to edit with a green background, but the green background creates fewer distractions and has more of a focus. I used a “Sony A3000 Mirrorless Digital Camera” to take this shot.
