A beautiful blue-eyed girl staring back at me.
It took me a long time to get here, to love myself and to see
that I am not what everybody writes me out to be.
Life is a paradox; it’s wonderful, but rough like the sea.
If I lose it, it will never come back to me.
I have tried so hard and so long to be the girl that everybody wants me to be.
But now I am done: it’s my time to break free.
It’s my life, my story, my journey, and I am going to live it just being me,
the beautiful blue-eyed girl that I am now learning to see.
